The former La Fiesta Brava in Chauvet Square
La Fiesta Brava is a small chain of Tex-Mex restaurants.
Prior to 2007 La Fiesta Brava had two locations in Hattiesburg, one on Highway 49 across from USM where Glory Bound Gyro Company is today, and the other on Highway 98 just west of Interstate 59 in what was once a Rax and is now Georgia Blue. Then in 2007 the Highway 98 location just west of Interstate 59 closed and moved to Chauvet Square near the Grand Theater[1]. Later, in 2009, the Highway 49 location moved just further south into a new location, while Glory Bound Gyro Company took over the original location. The location in Chauvet Square closed in early 2014. The Highway 49 location closed on December 28, 2020.
