The Southerner is the name of the USM yearbook.

  • p 334-335 -- 12 inches of rain fell on Wednesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 7. Caused $129 million in damages (not sure if this means in Hattiesburg or in the whole state)

  • UAC rented Avanti Theater and called it Reel to Reel. Before that it seems they showed movies in Bennett Auditorium.

  • The Fraizer Museum closed
