Talk:Burnt Bridge

Apparently a girl and her prom date died on this bridge. Story goes the a girl in her prom dress appeares on the hood of your car as you are driving over. A new bridge has been built amd the girl hasn't been seen sense.

Question is...where is this bridge at?

I found a Burnt Bridge Road on a map that runs north and south, a couple (if that many) miles south of Lake Serene. It looks like it crosses Black Creek, so that might be where the bridge is. It looks like you can go down (as in south) Old Highway 11, turn right on Old Highway 24 (is that the same road Oak Grove use to be on (or still is... something's still there)?), then Burnt Bridge Road will be on the left a little ways. I think that's right. I don't really know Lamar county too well.

It'd be great if we could find a pic of the original bridge. -- Brad
