Original location[edit]
The 1918 Hattiesburg City Directory says there were 3 fire stations, with the main one at 130 West Pine Street. #2 was at 800 Arledge, and #3 was 147 West 5th (Street, I assume) --LarryM (talk) 11:20, 28 June 2019 (CST)
- This sure looks like it could have been fire station #3. Notice the garage that seems to run through the length of the building. https://www.google.com/maps/@31.3333633,-89.3003987,3a,73.8y,43h,79.98t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sDg8RytzZgKphJ1EhP2M7Bw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 #1 was where the Forrest Hotel building is today, according to the Sanborn maps. #2 appears to be used as the City of Hattiesburg Recreation Maintenance building https://goo.gl/maps/mRH1wUxXWpa5SbQj7 --LarryM (talk) 11:42, 28 June 2019 (CST)
