It looks like the zoo is part of Kamper Park. Perhaps the two articles should be merged somehow. --LarryM 22:46, 6 November 2006 (CST)

I think the zoo is one of the biggest attractions in Hattiesburg by itself, so it should not be merged. --User:Johnbrid7173 9:33 3 May 2024

Elephants[edit]

We need to find a more reliable source we can cite, but according to http://bloggalooba.blogspot.com/2008/09/miss-hattie.html the zoo had two elephants, Miss Hattie from 1958 - 1973, and Babar from 1974 to 1987. It was Babar that had a goat friend. --LarryM (talk) 15:55, 14 December 2016 (CST)
