Bobby Chain

Bobby Lee Chain (1929 - 2014) served as mayor of Hattiesburg from 1980 - 1985. He founded the Chain Electric Company in 1955, and was a founding member of Southern National Bank in 1965. He died on May 31, 2014.[1]

The Bobby Chain Technology Building on the campus of USM and the Bobby L. Chain Municipal Airport are named after him.
